LA International and Hippo Digital awarded contract to provide Digital Capability..
LA International is proud to announce that along with its strategic delivery partner, Hippo Digital, it has been awarded a new £4m contract with Government Digital Service (GDS) to provide ‘Digital Capability for Urgent DDaT requirements’ across government and the wider public sector.
The contract will play a role in supporting GDS to deliver improved remote and online services, including resources and capabilities to supplement teams on urgent discovery and development projects, agile multidisciplinary teams and specialist services such as Data Science and Domain Knowledge.
Working with Government Departments and Arms Length Bodies (ALBs) across a range of disciplines including architecture, security, policy, service and product management, finance, and delivery management, key areas of focus will include:
- User experience and design
- Performance analysis and data
- Service delivery
- Software development
- User research

The contract will provide significant flexibility and enable a rapid response to urgent requests received by GDS from Government Departments and ALBs. Critically, the contract will enable any department to access support in delivering urgent digital projects where resources and capability is required within 5-10 working days.
