Overview of the Role
This is an investment area for my client with new roles to support the introduction of an Azure based Integration Service (IS) capability. Our client has the ambition of developing a portfolio of intelligent business applications to improve operational efficiency and excel in the customer experience, all within an agile environment to maximise these benefits.
Your role will play a pivotal role in developing and supporting Integration Services solutions, collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders under the guidance of a Lead Integration Engineer.
Qualifications and skills
Essential
* Strong experience in developing, assessing, and maintaining applications using Azure Logic Apps and APIM.
* Proficient in version control using Git.
* Solid expertise with Terraform.
* Experience in troubleshooting, analysing, and resolving integration-related issues.
Key Attributes
* Ability to work independently, with excellent organisational, planning, and self-management skills.
* The ability to work accurately and carefully, manage and complete projects to deadlines and deliver high quality work.
* Effective communication and people skills, including written and presentational, with the ability to work and engage with a diverse range of collaborators/stakeholders at all levels.
* An understanding of how to provide customer service excellence and a focus on this at all stages of development.
* Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable
* Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript).
* Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
* Experience with other Azure Integration Services such as Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO)
* Knowledge of processes within Higher Education.
