Role 1: PAM Framework SMEs to develop a FW inline with financial services industry best practice- Design and deploy a Privileged Access Management (PAM) Framework
Leverage Tier 1 Industry Best Practice principles, build on initial/outline PAM Framework criticality tiers to create a single, coherent and operational approach to PAM in the bank
Create a PAM Framework structure that allows for continuous improvement and maturity development as new capabilities and tooling evolves
Operationalise PAM Framework beyond conceptual design to practical and integrated information source, platform for controls and processes and tool to deliver tangible and measurable improvements in risk posture, data quality and processes
Align PAM Framework to;
Risk Management Framework (IRM)
Security Controls (Control Tower)
Processes (PAM Processes)
People (IAM / PAM RACI & Op Model & Org Structure)
Regulatory Obligations
Strategic Direction (Soteria)
Industry Best Practice (Tier 1)
Role 2: PAM Process SMEs to identify, scope and map current state PAM processes. In "lock-step" with PAM Framework (WS1), identify, scope and map current state PAM processes
Define process mapping levels, eg. Level 1 - High Level, Level 2 - Low Level suitable for differing audiences
Define process mapping objectives and benefits in line with PAM Roadmap, Soteria and various in-flight initiatives (e.g. Section 166 audit remediations, regulatory obligations)
Evaluate current state processes using metric driven and risk weighted procedures to enable recommendations for target state (e.g. 'do nothing', 'merge duplicate processes', 'stop process', 'update process' etc)
Complete dependency and gap analysis to identify any tooling, technology or critical path dependencies required to deliver target state processes
Syndicate current state process evaluation with TOCS stakeholders to agree prioritised processes to be transformed based on cost-benefit and risk weighted outcomes
Re-design target state processes and syndicate final process designs
Define process transformation roadmap in line with IAM/PAM roadmaps and any accelerated transformation plans
Mobilise transformation of process changes and deliver target state processes (scope TBC)
