Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau and SharePoint
Developer with experience in data visualization,
collaboration platforms, and cybersecurity to support
business transformation initiatives. This role will involve
designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven
solutions and secure collaboration tools to deliver
insights and enhance productivity. The ideal candidate
will be proficient in Tableau and SharePoint, SQL,
Oracle, Python, and Ab Initio (desireable). With a
strategic and solution-focused mindset, you will
collaborate across business to support digital
transformation and drive value for both customers and
colleagues.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Data Visualization: Develop, design, and
maintain interactive dashboards and data
visualizations in Tableau to deliver actionable
insights for business users.
* Collaboration Platform Development: Build and
enhance SharePoint sites, libraries, and
workflows, leveraging SharePoint Framework
(SPFx), support efficient document management
and collaboration.
* Data Integration and Transformation: Design and
manage ETL processes using SQL, Oracle, and
Ab Initio to integrate, transform, and manage
data across platforms.
* Automation and Scripting: Use Python to develop
scripts for data automation, manipulation, and
integration, as well as streamline Tableau and
SharePoint workflows.
* Problem Solving and RCA: Conduct root cause
analysis (RCA) to troubleshoot issues, optimize
performance, and ensure high availability of
Tableau and SharePoint solutions.* Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather requirements
and work with stakeholders to develop solutions
that align with business needs, driving digital and
technology transformation.
* Internal Controls and Risk Management:
Implement and maintain internal controls,
manage access permissions, and ensure risk and
compliance standards are met for both Tableau
and SharePoint.
* Strategic Thinking and Innovation: Stay updated
on information technology trends, applying
strategic insights to optimize Tableau and
SharePoint functionality and drive continuous
improvement.
Mandatory Skill * Data Visualization: Expertise in Tableau, with
strong knowledge of creating interactive
dashboards and visualizations.
* SharePoint Development: Proficiency in
SharePoint Framework (SPFx), workflows, and
integration with Power Platform (Power Apps,
Power Automate).
* Information Technology Security and
Cybersecurity: Hands-on experience in
implementing security controls and managing
cybersecurity risks in IT environments.
* Database Management: Strong SQL skills, with
experience in Oracle databases for data
extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
* Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in Python
for data manipulation and process automation.
* Issue Escalation and RCA: Ability to identify
critical issues, perform root cause analysis, and
escalate as necessary.
* Software Design and Strategic Thinking: Skills in
designing efficient, scalable software solutions
with a business-aligned strategic approach.
* Professional Collaboration and Business
Acumen: Strong interpersonal skills for effective
collaboration with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
