DevOps Engineer
6 Month contract initially + Extensions
Remote + 2 days p/w onsite in Croydon
£475 - £525 p/d (Via Umbrella-PAYE)
We have a great opportunity with a world leading organisation, a true leader in their field. We are looking for a number of DevOps Engineers to join the successful team on a fantastic, long-term program of work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working in a production environment on production deployments for servers.
Key Skills & Experience:
The must have requirements centre around the base technology platforms that we build all our infrastructure:
* AWS
* Cloud Formation or Terraform
* Nginx
* Linux administration
* Packer
* Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc)
* Working within an agile context with the use of CI
* Articulate a logical design, and understand how this translates to physical infrastructure
* Experience with defining and working with the constraint of NFRs such as cost, scalability, availability
* The must have skills will determine how well they will be able to integrate into our way of working and
* The principals we use when making strategic and long-term decisions.
Beneficial Skills & Experience:
* Kubernetes
* Docker
* Hashicorp tools (Packer, Consul, Vault, etc)
