LA International Exhibiting at The 2016 NATO NITEC 16 Industry Conference
LA International is to exhibit at the flagship event of the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) and the Association for Communications, Electronics and Information Systems (AFCEA) organized in cooperation with the Estonian Ministry of Defence, NITEC'16 will bring together over 500 senior government, military and industry leaders as well as defence and security experts.
Taking place in the run-up to the Warsaw Summit as NATO increases its defence posture and continues to bolster the readiness and responsiveness of its forces, it will provide a unique opportunity to address how NATO and industry can collaborate more effectively in this new era of shared risk to build resilience through developing and delivering secure C4ISR and cyber capabilities.

Conference programme:
The conference programme will focus on the new way of engaging with industry adapted to thediversity and simultaneity of threats and rapid technological developments, while providing concrete opportunities to connect, exchange views and lessons learned and collaborate with industry partners.
Day One
During the first day of the conference – the NATO-INDUSTRY STRATEGIC DIALOGUE DAY - senior decision makers and industry leaders will discuss the key challenges the Alliance faces today and is likely to meet in the future focusing on how strategic partnership with industry, including with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) can enable further enhancement of C4ISR capabilities through building investment in innovative, state of the art solutions against high-end threats.
Day Two and Day Three
OPPORTUNITIES FOR COLLABORATION DAYS - will offer a forum to discuss the latest technological developments and collaborate on NATO C4ISR business opportunities and capability priorities. This year, in addition to the AFCEA Technet International exhibition and the networking opportunities, the conference will also feature for the first time ever a number of tailored initiatives and one-on-one meetings with NATO decision makers, program managers and staff that to learn how to access NATO business opportunities, programs, build partnerships, and leverage innovative solutions, including:
- a Defence Innovation Challenge designed to accelerate private-sector and defence sourced technology solutions aligned with NATO requirements;
- a Small and Medium Enterprises and academia innovation showcase allowing innovators in C4ISR and Cyber areas to demonstrate their solutions to military and industry leadership;
- a special session on navigating and understanding how to use NATO – Industry collaborative platforms and business opportunities/contract portals to identify appropriate opportunities for collaboration and submit an effective bid;
- an interactive seminar on Lessons Learned: Common Mistakes Made in bid proposals;
- and a mentoring programme for Small and Medium Enterprises and start-ups during which successful small businesses, primes and acquisition representatives will discuss potential opportunities landscape, seed financing and best practices.
