
A large financial organisation is looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst for a 12 month contract Inside IR35. The role will be hybrid working with an expectation of being in the office 2 days a week in central London.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our UK Tech team in London. The primary focus of this role is to support the implementation of a Digital Asset Management tool (Adobe) and a workflow tool by gathering requirements, mapping processes, and ensuring seamless integration. Additionally, the role will support broader technology initiatives within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document technical and business requirements. Ensure all requirements are well-defined, complete, and aligned with business objectives.
* Analysis and Documentation: Analyse existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement. Develop clear and structured documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
* Solution Design: Work closely with development and implementation teams to design scalable and efficient solutions that meet business needs and align with organisational goals.
* Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate technical solutions. Identify and address any discrepancies to ensure successful implementation.
* Process Mapping & Journey Documentation: Map and document business workflows and user journeys to support the implementation of the Digital Asset Management and workflow tools.
* Continuous Improvement: Support ongoing technology-driven initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
* Strong background in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
* Experience with Digital Asset Management tools (Adobe preferred) and workflow tools is highly desirable.
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams including IT, development, and business stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms.
* Experience working in financial and banking environments is a plus.
