Job Summary: The Senior HR Business Partner will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, providing expert HR guidance, and driving organizational effectiveness. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
* The Senior HR Business Partner will be a key member of the SCM Senior HR management team
* The post holder will lead and manage two teams to deliver a portfolio of services including HR business partnering, workforce planning, resourcing, medical staffing, EDI and pay and reward) across the school.
* Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Lead talent management initiatives, including recruitment, performance management, and succession planning.
* Drive student engagement and retention strategies.
* Manage employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies.
* Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-informed decision-making.
* Regularly review and amend the SCM pay policy Frameworks to ensure they are in date, and meeting the requirements for both equal pay and gender pay gap
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* HR certification - CIPD or Equivalent ( ideally Associate or Chartered)
* Minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role.
* Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations.
* Proven experience in strategic HR planning and execution.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
