I am currently looking for a Configuration Manager to work in contract with a major client and am very keen to talk with you.

* Location: Hybrid- Remote/Wiltshire (2-3 days/week)
* Duration: initially running until the end of March 2025 (extensions are expected)
* IR35: Inside
* Rate: £negotiable

* Role Overview: The Configuration Manager is accountable for day to day implementation and management of the configuration management process focusing on:
- Use of standard methods and procedures for management and maintenance of the configuration process
- Ensuring that all changes to Configuration Items are recorded as part of the change process;
- Ensuring all configuration items are identified, documented, maintained and controlled through their lifecycle
- Initiate and implement process improvement from insight from process performance measures and end user feedback through the Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) process.
- Review/Reports performance of configuration management reporting on performance against SLAs and KPIs and insights from trend analysis

* Experience:
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Quickly adaptable to changing processes and requirements
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to interact with colleagues at all organizational levels
- Experience with and thorough understanding of key factors that drive business value and impact
- 5+ years of related experience; administering and delivering Configuration Management
- ITIL certification
- Agile/SAFe experience
- Strong customer facing skills with an ability to interact in confidence with clients
