Server Build Engineer - SC Cleared

A Server Build Engineer is required. You will have strong understanding of Microsoft technology, in particular VMware, to build secure IT systems.

Skills:
- Experience of building virtualised datacentres from a baseline assured solution and supporting documentation.
- Network background with experience of Switch/Router/Firewall configuration. CCNA/CCNP desired.
- Windows Server & Administration Tools (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Certs, PKI), Windows 10
- Microsoft technologies: SQL, Exchange, Skype, SharePoint, WSUS
- VMware technologies, including: ESX & vCenter, NSX, Horizon (VDI), App Volumes
- PowerShell scripting knowledge

The contract is for 9-12 months initially and is based full time on site. There will be a need for travel to other sites across the UK as and when needed.

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
