Description of tasks
To ensure the operations of the Digital Infrastructure and carry out all the tasks necessary to keep them functioning 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Digital Infrastructure System Administrator is in charge of the maintenance and technical development necessary to ensure that the Digital Infrastructure is maintained at a satisfactory level of operational quality.

Main Activities

Function name: Installing, maintaining, updating, and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure components such as:
Storage & Backup Solutions, VMWare Virtual Cloud Foundation, ESXi Hosts, Big IP Load Balancers, Virtual Desktop Stacks, InfoBlox DNS,
MS Exchange & Mail Routing, and systems related to secure communications channels (VPN).

Duties:
* Contributing to Designing, Engineering and implementing Digital Infrastructure solutions related to Storage & Backup, VMware VCF, ESXi Host Hardware, Enterprise Load Balancers, VPNs, Multifactor Authentication Solutions, PKI, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure based on VMware Horizon etc.
* Providing Subject Matter Expertise in the formation of new Digital Infrastructure Systems.
* Supporting and partaking in the procurement process for new Digital Infrastructure Systems.
* Maintaining the Digital Infrastructure environment, including Firmware and OS rollouts, device certificate management, secure VPN endpoint configuration, Load Balancer Configuration, Storage & Backup device configuration.
* Owning and resolving Digital Infrastructure and other related Incident Tickets in a 3rd line capacity as required.
* Troubleshooting and investigating application errors/malfunctions

Education, knowledge, skills and experience

In addition to the skills needed to perform the above mentioned tasks and to function in the described work environment the Support
Officer (Back office - Database Administrator) shall have:
* Experience: at least 3 years in Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering and Operations within a VMware Virtualised Environment
* Knowledge:
* VMware Enterprise Platforms (VCF)
* DELL Enterprise Compute Solutions (VxRail)
* Security Solutions - PKI Certificate/Smartcard/MFA
* Object/NAS/NFS Storage Solutions
* Big IP Load Balancer Configuration
* Should have strong communication skills and professional experience in an EU or multicultural environment;
* Shall have good command1 of the English language as this is the official working language of the client
